Pay for the treatment members need, not the plan they were sold.
Every dental claim rests on the treating dentist's word. An independent UK dentist with no stake in the treatment checks each plan over £500 before you pay, and routes members to fixed-price visits. You pay from what it saves.

A check between the quote and the claim
It slots in before payment. Your claims team, policy wording and provider panel stay as they are.
The check never criticises the treating dentist. It shows the member the options and their prices.
The dentist's check, and what your member sees
Real screens from the product. The reviewing dentist sets a verdict on every line; the member gets the same verdicts in plain words, with the practical option priced.

Where the saving comes from
Per insured life a year, at the plan's 11% saving on £109 of claims. Your back-test sets the real sizes for your book.
The minimum, not the maximum
Plans over £500 checked before you pay. The member sees the practical option beside the comprehensive one, with both prices, and chooses.
Price checked before payment
Each claim against the rate card and the local range. A quote that grew after the fact is caught before you pay it.
Steered to a known price
Members who want a visit go to partner practices at a fixed rate card, routed by need, distance and slot. Nobody pays to rank.
£11.99 a life saved, against a Pro fee of £8.40 a life a year.
You pay from what you save
70p a member a month, plus a quarter of any saving above 9%. If the saving falls short of the fee, the shortfall is credited.
Illustrative. Measured against your own prior-year claims per life, adjusted for membership change. Below 5% on the back-test, we don't sell you Pro.
Three ways in
Starter
Member value you can show: triage, the screen, the fixed-price network and a usage report. 15p at 250,000 lives.
Pro
All three levers, pre-approval on plans over £500, the fee schedule, and a monthly report by lever.
The £3 embed
For PMI and benefit platforms: Starter plus a pain visit for £90 instead of £240. You write the £150 cover and keep the rider margin.
One pain visit, start to finish
Your cover pays £150 from 30 days after joining. The member pays £90. Retail dental cover costs about £15 a member a month; this costs about £3.
A one-page report for your book
Use, turnaround, member rating and the claims value saved by each lever, against your prior-year claims per life.
A free back-test, then a 90-day pilot
We run your last 12 months of claims through the check before you commit to anything.
Back-test
We re-run 12 months of your anonymised claims through the screen and report the saving by lever. Free.
Pilot
One employer group or book segment of 10,000 to 100,000 lives, at no charge, with a report from month one.
Decide
Roll out Pro at 70p a life, start on Starter, or stop. Below 5% on the back-test, we don't sell you Pro.
Questions insurers ask
Do you make the claims decision?
No. You get the verdict on each line and the member's choice. The decision, the policy wording and your provider panel stay with you.
Why would a member use it?
Because they get an honest view of a big quote, from a dentist who isn't selling it, before they commit. It's value they can feel even when they don't claim.
Is this independent?
The screening dentist never treats the member, never sees which practices are partners, and is paid the same whatever they conclude. Instant Dentist earns nothing on treatment.
What data do you need for the back-test?
Twelve months of anonymised dental claims: treatment codes, amounts and dates. We sign your data processing terms first.
How do members reach it?
A link in your member app or claims journey, or a step in pre-approval for plans over £500. No new portal for your team.
